The East Rutherford Cavaliers topped the host Avery County Vikings volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Cavaliers now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shelby for a non-league test on Monday, August 29. East Rutherford will confront a Golden Lions team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Golden Lions record now stands at 1-5.
