In Thursday's non-league contest, the Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Raiders face the Whiteville Wolfpack (Whiteville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, August 29. Midway will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Wolfpack go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC).

With the loss, Lakewood moves to 0-5 on the year. The Leopards travel to West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC) to face the Vikings in a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 30. The Vikings go into the contest with a record of 0-2.
