Kentucky High School Football - Magoffin County held off by Lewis County
August 25, 2023: Vanceburg, KY 41179 In Friday's non-league game, the Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) football team tipped the visiting Magoffin County Hornets (Salyersville, KY), by a final score of 6-0.
The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Breathitt County (Jackson, KY). The Bobcats come into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Breathitt County was tipped by Perry County Central (Hazard, KY), 29-26, in a non-league game.
The Hornets now hold a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Leslie County for a non-league game on Friday, September 1.
