August 26, 2024: Bedford, VA 24523 The Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) volleyball held off the host Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA), 3-2 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Buffaloes now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Pulaski County for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 28. Floyd County will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Liberty drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Gretna (Gretna, VA) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 29. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Gretna won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA)
