August 26, 2025: Rockingham, NC 28380 Richmond Senior Raiders (Rockingham, NC) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Richmond Senior advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 27. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Uwharrie Charter Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Wheatmore (Trinity, NC)
Next up, the Fighting Scots face the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, August 27. Scotland will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Golden Tornadoes go into the game with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Pender (Burgaw, NC).
