East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, East Mecklenburg moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC) to clash with the Wonders in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Wonders come into the test with a record of 1-4. A.L. Brown 0-0 in their recent non-league test against Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

The Patriots now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Palisades for a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 27. Independence will play a Pumas squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over South Point (Belmont, NC). The Pumas record now stands at 2-1.
