The River Islands Riptide volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Central Valley Hawks to 0 in the Riptide non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Riptide now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverbank for a non-league game on Thursday, August 28. River Islands will face a Bruins squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Waterford (Waterford, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 1-1.
