North Carolina High School Volleyball - St. Stephens can't hold off Maiden
August 28, 2025: Maiden, NC 28650 In Thursday's non-league match, the Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) volleyball team held off the visiting St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC), by a margin of 2-1.
The Blue Devils now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bandys for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. Maiden will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, St. Stephens falls to 3-3 on the year. The Indians travel to Newton-Conover (Newton, NC) to battle the Red Devils in a non-league match on Wednesday, September 3. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 0-6.
