August 28, 2025: Russellton, PA 15076 Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Deer Lakes Lancers (Russellton, PA) and the visiting Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA), saw Deer Lakes's soccer squad knock off Shady Side Academy by a final score of 3-0.
With the triumph, Deer Lakes moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh, PA) to meet the Foxes in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Foxes come into the test with a record of 1-1. Fox Chapel won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA)
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fox Chapel for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6.
