Illinois High School Volleyball - Rockridge can't hold off East Moline United
August 28, 2025: East Moline, IL 61244 In Thursday's non-league match, the East Moline United Panthers (East Moline, IL) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Rockridge Rockets (Taylor Ridge, IL), by a count of 2-1.
The Panthers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Quincy for a Western Big 6 bout on Tuesday, September 2. East Moline United will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Glenwood (Chatham, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Rockridge drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Rockets host Sherrard (Sherrard, IL) to battle the Tigers in a Three Rivers match on Tuesday, September 2. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 4-0. Sherrard won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Princeton (Princeton, IL)
