South Dakota High School Volleyball - Wolsey-Wessington overwhelmed by Northwestern Area
August 28, 2025: Wolsey, SD 57384 The Northwestern Area Wildcats topped the host Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 30. Northwestern Area will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Lynx go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 league loss to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, SD).
With the loss, Wolsey-Wessington drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Warbirds travel to DeSmet (DeSmet, SD) to play the Bulldogs in a B Region 2 outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 2-0. DeSmet won 3-0 in their recent league game against Deubrook (White, SD)
