August 28, 2025: Santa Rosa, CA 95403 Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Santa Rosa Panthers (Santa Rosa, CA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Piner improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Prospectors travel to Middletown (Middletown, CA) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 30. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Middletown lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Kelseyville (Kelseyville, CA)
Next, the Panthers meet the Heritage Patriots (Brentwood, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 30. Santa Rosa will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA).
