August 28, 2025: Shallowater, TX 79363 Shallowater Mustangs (Shallowater, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Plainview Bulldogs (Plainview, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX). The Rebels enter the non-league challenge with a 11-9 record. In their last challenge, Midland Legacy beat Lubbock (Lubbock, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 28. Plainview will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Scorpions go into the test with a 5-9 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Clint (Clint, TX).
