Colorado High School Soccer - Battle Mountain knocks off Evergreen
August 29, 2023: Evergreen, CO 80439 Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Evergreen Cougars (Evergreen, CO), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Huskies confront the Eagle Valley Devils (Gypsum, CO) in a 4A Western Slope challenge, on Thursday, August 31. Battle Mountain will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Devils enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Mitchell (Colorado Springs, CO).
The Cougars now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Westminster for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 6. Evergreen will confront a Wolves team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Mountain Range (Westminster, CO). The Wolves record now stands at 1-1.
