August 29, 2024: Sumter, SC 29154 White Knoll Timberwolves (Lexington, SC) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Sumter Gamecocks (Sumter, SC), 20-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, White Knoll advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Timberwolves host Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC) to play the Bearcats in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. The Bearcats go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Brookland-Cayce lost 21-0 in their recent non-league battle against River Bluff (Lexington, SC)
The Gamecocks now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Florence for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. Sumter will play a Bruins team coming off a 22-0 non-league win over West Florence (Florence, SC). The Bruins record now stands at 1-0.
