The Vaqueros now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Portola for a non-league game on Thursday, September 5. Irvine will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to El Toro (Lake Forest, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-6.
The Vanguards (0-5) will now prepare for their game against University (Irvine, CA). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, University was dropped by Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
