August 29, 2025: Quicksburg, VA 22847 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) and the host Stonewall Jackson Generals (Quicksburg, VA), witnessed Bath County's football squad wallop Stonewall Jackson by a tally of 36-0.
The Chargers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Bison enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Buffalo Gap was trounced by Broadway (Broadway, VA), 49-7, in a non-league contest.
Next up, the Generals encounter the Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Stonewall Jackson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
