In their next game, the Bearkats play the Deweyville Pirates (Deweyville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Cushing will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Pirates come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 68-8 non-league win over Christian Home Educators Fellowship (Baton Rouge, LA).
With the defeat, Colmesneil drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Linden-Kildare lost 46-0 in their recent non-league test against Pewitt (Omaha, TX)
