The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Hillcrest Huskies (Midvale, UT) and the visiting Cottonwood Colts (Salt Lake City, UT), witnessed Hillcrest's football squad wallop Cottonwood by a tally of 49-7.

The Huskies (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Granger (West Valley City, UT). The Lancers enter the 5A Region 4 contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Granger was trounced by Skyline (Idaho Falls, ID), 9-6, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Colts confront the Highland Rams (Salt Lake City, UT) in a 4A Region 10 bout, on Friday, September 5. Cottonwood will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 48-7 non-league loss to Viewmont (Bountiful, UT).
