Pennsylvania High School Football - Franklin Regional falls to Hempfield Area

August 29, 2025: Murrysville, PA 15668

The Hempfield Area Spartans felled the host Franklin Regional Panthers football team by a score of 31-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Hempfield Area will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Cavaliers go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 42-7 non-league loss to Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA).

The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Upper St. Clair topped Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA), 48-0, in a non-league test.
