West Virginia High School Football - Preston defeated by Hampshire
August 29, 2025: Romney, WV 26757 The Hampshire Trojans were victorious over the visiting Preston Knights football team by a score of 40-20 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Frankfort Falcons (Ridgeley, WV) in a Potomac Valley I game, on Friday, September 5. Hampshire will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Falcons enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 34-10 non-league win over Moorefield (Moorefield, WV).
With the defeat, Preston drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to North Marion (Farmington, WV) to clash with the Huskies in a Big Ten outing on Friday, September 5. The Huskies come into the outing with a record of 1-0. North Marion won 27-0 in their recent league outing against East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV)
