New Mexico High School Football - Hot Springs can't hold off Pojoaque Valley

Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM), 27-25 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Pojoaque Valley improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Elks/Elkettes travel to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. The Hilltoppers go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Los Alamos won 42-13 in their recent non-league match against Taos (Taos, NM)

Coming up next, the Tigers meet the Capitan Tigers (Capitan, NM) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Hot Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM).
