Texas High School Volleyball - Cypress Lakes overwhelmed by Fort Bend Austin

Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs (7-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 11-7 record. In their last challenge, Goose Creek Memorial beat Westfield (Houston, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Spartans now sport a 9-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Porter for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Cypress Lakes will face a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Eisenhower (Houston, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 14-6.
