The Middleburg Broncos topped the visiting Hoover Buccaneers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league game.

Coming up next, the Broncos play the Clay Blue Devils (Green Cove Springs, FL) in a 5A District 3 outing, on Tuesday, September 2. Middleburg will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Blue Devils come into the outing with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Bishop Snyder (Jacksonville, FL).

With the loss, Hoover moves to 4-5 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Homewood (Homewood, AL) to confront the Patriots in a non-league game on Wednesday, September 3. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 8-4. Homewood won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Jackson-Olin (Birmingham, AL)
