The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO) and the visiting Custer County Bobcats (Westcliffe, CO), witnessed Sedgwick County's football squad wallop Custer County by a tally of 58-16.

The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mancos (Mancos, CO). The Bluejays enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Mancos was trounced by Melrose (Melrose, NM), 50-22, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bobcats battle the Plateau Valley Cowboys (Collbran, CO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 6. Custer County will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Cowboys enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 36-12 non-league loss to Dove Creek (Dove Creek, CO).
