August 30, 2024: Fairmont, WV 26554 Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV), 55-3 in a league battle.
With the win, Fairmont Senior advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Polar Bears travel to Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV) to play the Eagles in a Big Ten battle on Friday, September 6. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Robert C. Byrd won 48-7 in their recent non-league battle against Keyser (Keyser, WV)
