August 30, 2024: Greenfield, TN 38230 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Greenfield Yellowjackets (Greenfield, TN) and the visiting Stewart County Rebels (Dover, TN), witnessed Greenfield's football squad knock off Stewart County by a tally of 30-12.
The Yellowjackets (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Halls (Halls, TN). The Tigers enter the 1A Region 7 contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Halls gained a win over Rossville Christian Academy (Rossville, TN), 60-8, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Rebels battle the Fairview Yellowjackets (Fairview, TN) in a 3A Region 6 contest, on Friday, September 6. Stewart County will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 41-12 non-league win over Waverly Central (Waverly, TN).
