August 30, 2024: Jackson, TN 38305 Jackson Christian Eagles (Jackson, TN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Peabody Golden Tide (Trenton, TN), 36-22 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Jackson Christian improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Eagles host Goodpasture Christian (Madison, TN) to play the Cougars in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Goodpasture Christian lost 40-21 in their recent non-league battle against Silverdale Academy (Chattanooga, TN)
The Golden Tide now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside for a 2A Region 6 battle on Friday, September 6. Peabody will play a Panthers team coming off a 35-0 non-league win over Lexington (Lexington, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
