The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Madison County Tigers (Gurley, AL) and the visiting St. John Paul II Falcons (Huntsville, AL), witnessed Madison County's football squad topple St. John Paul II by a count of 26-7.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Jackson (Stevenson, AL). The Chiefs enter the 4A Region 8 contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, North Jackson was outscored by Scottsboro (Scottsboro, AL), 14-6, in a non-league contest.
