August 30, 2025: Whitney, TX 76692 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Whitney Wildcats (Whitney, TX) and the visiting Benbrook Bobcats (Benbrook, TX), observed Whitney's volleyball team top Benbrook by a count of 2-0.
The Wildcats (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Southwest (Fort Worth, TX). The Raiders go into the non-league battle with a 14-6 record. In their last battle, Southwest dropped by Summit International Prep (Arlington, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Bobcats now own a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sanger for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. Benbrook will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Sherman (Sherman, TX). The Indians record now stands at 17-10.
