The Northwestern Area Wildcats topped the host Mitchell Kernels volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Wildcats now possess a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Langford for a B Region 1 game on Thursday, September 4.

The Kernels (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Pierre T.F. Riggs (Pierre, SD). The Governors enter the AA District 1 game with a 0-3 record.
