South Carolina High School Football - Hillcrest prevails Clover

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC) and the host Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC), observed Hillcrest's football squad defeat Clover by a count of 24-7.

The Rams now own a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Boiling Springs for a non-league contest on Friday, September 8. Hillcrest will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 29-7 non-league win over Chapman (Inman, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Blue Eagles play the York Cougars (York, SC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 8. Clover will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 38-14 non-league win over Union County (Union, SC).
