September 1, 2023: Saratoga, TX 77585 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the East Chambers Buccaneers (Winnie, TX) and the host West Hardin Oilers (Saratoga, TX), saw East Chambers's volleyball squad nip West Hardin by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, East Chambers upgrades its record to 14-6 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Huntington (Huntington, TX) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 9-14. Huntington lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Gilmer (Gilmer, TX)
The Oilers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Goodrich for a non-league bout on Friday, September 8. West Hardin will play a Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Trinity (Trinity, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 0-10.
