The Abbeville Panthers (Abbeville, SC) football overcame the visiting Southside Christian Sabres (Simpsonville, SC), 28-14 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Westside Rams (Anderson, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 9. Abbeville will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 45-7 non-league win over T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC).
