September 2, 2022: Atlantic, IA 50022 The Atlantic Trojans football team (Atlantic, IA), was knocked off 37-22 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA)
The Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson-Scranton (Jefferson, IA). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson-Scranton was knocked off by Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf (Faribault, MN), 42-14, in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shenandoah for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Atlantic will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 20-7 non-league win over Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.
