Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans face the Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) in a Suburban Prairie challenge, on Tuesday, September 6. Romeoville will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Bengals enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 4-1 league win over Minooka (Minooka, IL).

The Tigers now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Joliet Catholic for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 3. Joliet West will face a Hilltoppers team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Antioch (Antioch, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 2-0.
