The Panthers now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Alexander Central for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. Hibriten will battle a Cougars team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-2.
The Blue Devils (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Bearcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Hendersonville was nipped by East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC), 1-0, in a non-league contest.
