California High School Volleyball - Pomona overwhelmed by Maranatha
September 2, 2025: Pasadena, CA 91105 Maranatha Minutemen (Pasadena, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Pomona Red Devils (Pomona, CA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Minutemen (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Flintridge Sacred Heart (La Canada-Flintridge, CA). The Tologs come into the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Flintridge Sacred Heart beat Rosemead (Rosemead, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Red Devils face the Diamond Ranch Panthers (Pomona, CA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, September 3. Pomona will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 1-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to West Covina (West Covina, CA).
