Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting McKinley Trojans (Sebring, OH), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Springfield improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH) to face the Rams in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet test on Thursday, September 4. The Rams go into the test with a record of 4-1. Mineral Ridge won 3-0 in their recent league test against Waterloo (Atwater, OH)

The Trojans now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bristol for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. McKinley will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Badger (Kinsman, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 0-5.
