September 3, 2022: Texico, NM 88135 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Portales Rams (Portales, NM) and the host Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM), saw Portales's volleyball squad nip Texico by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Portales upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Rams host Roswell (Roswell, NM) to play the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 6. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Roswell won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM)
The Wolverines now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Logan for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 8. Texico will play a Longhorns squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-2.
