September 4, 2024: Newberry, SC 29108 Clinton Red Devils (Clinton, SC) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Newberry Bulldogs (Newberry, SC), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Clinton improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC) to face the Rebels in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Rebels go into the test with a record of 4-4. Strom Thurmond won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Swansea (Swansea, SC)
The Bulldogs now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saluda for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. Newberry will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.
