September 4, 2024: Johnston, SC 29832 Strom Thurmond Rebels (Johnston, SC) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Swansea Tigers (Swansea, SC), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Strom Thurmond improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Rebels host Clinton (Clinton, SC) to face the Red Devils in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Red Devils go into the test with a record of 2-1. Clinton won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Laurens (Laurens, SC)
The Tigers now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Keenan for a AA Region 4 test on Tuesday, September 10. Swansea will face a Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC). The Raiders record now stands at 2-1.
