California High School Flag Football - Centennial crushed by Santa Monica
September 4, 2025: Compton, CA 90222 Santa Monica Vikings (Santa Monica, CA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their flag football squad crush the host Centennial Apaches (Compton, CA), 41-6 in a league test.
The Vikings now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Segundo for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Santa Monica will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 20-6 league loss to North (Torrance, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Centennial drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Apaches travel to Lawndale (Lawndale, CA) to meet the Cardinals in a test on Thursday, September 11. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Lawndale won 50-12 in their recent league challenge against Hawthorne (Hawthorne, CA)
