New York High School Soccer - Hamburg nudged by Williamsville East
September 4, 2025: East Amherst, NY 14051 The Williamsville East Flames held off the visiting Hamburg Bulldogs soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Flames now hold a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Orchard Park for a non-league bout on Monday, September 8. Williamsville East will play a Quakers squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Grand Island (Grand Island, NY). The Quakers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Hamburg moves to 1-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Lancaster (Lancaster, NY) to face the Legends in a ECIC I game on Saturday, September 6. The Legends enter the game with a record of 2-1. Lancaster won 1-0 in their recent league game against Clarence (Clarence, NY)
