The Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders felled the visiting Benjamin Davis Falcons football team by a score of 35-21 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Fighting Crusaders face the Lake Creek Lions (Montgomery, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Strake Jesuit will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 19-18 non-league loss to St. Thomas Catholic (Houston, TX).

The Falcons (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX). The Spartans go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Cypress Lakes toppled Spring (Spring, TX), 36-0, in a non-league test.
