The First Flight Nighthawks football team (Kill Devil Hills, NC), was crushed 40-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC)

With the win, Manteo advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Redskins travel to Hobgood Charter (Hobgood, NC) to battle the Raiders in a non-league contest on Friday, September 12. The Raiders enter the contest with a record of 1-2. Hobgood Charter lost 36-8 in their recent non-league contest against Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA)

Coming up next, the Nighthawks battle the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 12. First Flight will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
