Texas High School Football - Wimberley nudges Fredericksburg

September 5, 2025: Fredericksburg, TX 78624

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Wimberley Texans (Wimberley, TX) and the host Fredericksburg Billies (Fredericksburg, TX), witnessed Wimberley's football squad edge Fredericksburg by a tally of 28-21.

The Texans (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against LBJ Austin (Austin, TX). The Jaguars go into the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, LBJ Austin nudged Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX), 46-13, in a non-league bout.

The Billies now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Tivy for a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. Fredericksburg will encounter a Antlers team coming off a 66-13 non-league loss to Davenport (San Antonio, TX). The Antlers record now stands at 1-1.
