Virginia High School Football - Galax can't hold off Graham
September 5, 2025: Galax, VA 24333 Graham G-Men (Bluefield, VA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA), 2-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Graham advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The G-Men host Union (Big Stone Gap, VA) to confront the Bears in a non-league match on Thursday, September 11. The Bears come into the match with a record of 2-0. Union won 62-6 in their recent non-league match against Daniel Boone (Gray, TN)
Coming up next, the Maroon Tide confront the Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Galax will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cavaliers come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 28-14 non-league loss to Grayson County (Independence, VA).
