Marlborough Panthers (Marlborough, MA) fans went home content Friday as they observed their football squad smash the visiting Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA), 41-7 in a non-league match.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Tantasqua Regional (Fiskdale, MA). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Crusaders play the Fitchburg Red Raiders (Fitchburg, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Groton-Dunstable will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
