The Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) football knocked off the host Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC), 15-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Triton for a Carolina Pines 6A contest on Friday, September 19. Lee County will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 1-2.

Coming up next, the Jaguars battle the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 12. Overhills will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Fighting Scots enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 27-19 non-league win over Ashley (Wilmington, NC).
